Requirements for sintered NdFeB magnets used in wind turbines:
1. High magnetic performance: It can provide enough magnetic force to generate efficient transmission force. (By testing the relevant elements of magnetic properties)
2. High wear resistance: able to withstand long-term friction and wear without losing magnetic energy (by tensile test and hardness test)
3. High stability: able to maintain consistent magnetic properties in long-term use. (by aging test and test hysteresis loop)
4. High-temperature stability: It can maintain consistent magnetic properties under high temperatures for a long time. (Detected by PCT experiment, HAST experiment, and secondary performance test)
5. High corrosion resistance: able to resist corrosion and oxidation to maintain magnetic properties (PCT experiment and HAST experiment)
6. High density: able to provide sufficient magnetic force in a small volume (by magnetic property detection)
7. High precision: able to meet the required precision and size requirements (through the control of magnetic performance testing and size tolerance range)
8. High durability: can be used for a long time without losing magnetic properties (by aging test, hysteresis loop and hardness test)
9. High toughness: able to withstand strong shock and vibration without breaking (by tensile test and hardness test)
10. Low noise: It can reduce noise pollution and noise during machine operation (detect magnetization curve and hysteresis loop)
11. High efficiency and low loss: It can provide high-efficiency energy conversion to improve the efficiency of the generator (through the magnetization curve and hysteresis loop)
12. High-cost performance: can achieve the best cost-effectiveness (magnetic performance test)
13. Sustainability: It can maintain magnetic properties in long-term use to reduce resource waste. (via aging and hysteresis loops)
14. Environmental protection: can reduce the impact and pollution on the environment (through PCT experiment and HAST experiment)
But one magnet will be losing its magnetic force in a certain, as per the work environment, stocking environment, and nature problems.
